Each extinguisher is in its designated location and accessible (not blocked or buried)
Pressure gauge reads in the green operating range
No visible damage, dents, corrosion, or tampering
Seal and tamper indicator are intact
Operating instructions are legible
No extinguisher has been discharged or is past its service date
All control valves are in the normal open position
Tamper switches are tested and functional
Fire department connection (FDC) is accessible and caps are in place
No sprinkler heads are damaged, corroded, or obstructed
Hydraulic design plate is present and legible
All signage and valve identification are in place
All smoke detectors challenged with test smoke and verified
All heat detectors tested and verified
All pull stations activated and signal confirmed
All notification appliances (horns/strobes) tested
Battery voltage and charger function tested
Signal transmission to central station verified (if monitored)
All results documented on NFPA 72 test record
Each unit's pilot light is on (indicating power)
No physical damage to units
Units are unobstructed and visible
Annual 90-minute test is current and documented
